When he had finished, I wanted to speak, for I had prepared a speech in my mind which pleased me much. I wanted to produce it before Aboo Bakr\ أبوبكر and I was trying to soften a certain asperity of his; but Aboo Bakr\ أبوبكر said: "!عمر 'Umar\ "Gently,

He was a man with more knowledge and dignity than I, and by هللاAllaah he did not omit a single word which I had thought of and he uttered it in his inimitable way better than I could have done. The Prophet Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam performed Salaat inside this garden and drank water there too. This garden belonged to the tribe of Al Ansaar \ األنصار of Banee Saa'edah \ بني ساعدة, and they used to gather therein: that was their meeting place. Dr. Muhammad Ilyas Abdu Al Ghani\ \ دمحم إلياس عبد الغني,د in his book Buyootu Al Ssahhaabah\ الصحابة, بيوت on page 156 said: Sahl ben Sa d ben Ubaadah\ سهل بن سعد بن عبادة said: "فأقبل النبي صلى هللا عليه وسلم يومئذ حتى جلس في سقيفة بني ساعدة هو وأصحابه ثم قال: "اسقنا يا سهل."

He further reported: The Hadeeth means: وعن سهل بن سعد قال: "سقيت رسول هللا صلى هللا عليه وسلم بيدي من بئر بضاعة." Sahl ben Sa d said: I gave to the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam water to drink from the water well of Budaa ah\ بئر بضاعة (This water well today is located inside the courtyard of the Masjed of the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam in the area between the Men s Toilette number 11 and the Car Parking number 11, both facing the gate number 22 of Maleku Fahd\ ملك فهد,باب and is about meters from the Saqeefatu Banee Sa dah\ بني ساعدة :سقيفة Hassan). He said: Because the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Salla sat down here (where سهلSahl built the masjed).

This garden is located, according to my personal measurement, two hundred and six meters to the west of the "Masjedu Al Nabawee \ مسجد النبوي ", if you exit the court of the Masjed by the metallic Gate number thirteen (13). When I visited this garden few years ago, it was open to the public before late in the morning and before the noon prayer of Thuhur\ الظهر,صالة while it was being maintained by staff and its vegetation was irrigated. Afterwards the gate would be closed and locked. Inside the garden there are date trees and other vegetations. This garden was about thirty meter long and likewise wide, according to my estimate.

The Noble Masjed Al Nabawee\ النبوي الشريف :المسجد under the same roof are Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam, under the green dome on the East, and his father Al Sayyed Abdu Allaahe\ السيد عبد هللا بن عبد المطلب on the Western side of the Masjid. 12 12 This is the water well inside Saqeefatu Banee Saa edah\ بنس ساعدة سقيفة in Al Madeenah Al Munawwarah\ المدينة المنورة under the red container sealed with cement. We visited the garden on Sunday 22 Thoo Al Hajjah\ ذو الحجة 1439 Hejree\,هجري 02 September 2018 Gregorian after we prayed the Asr prayer\ صالة العصر in the Haram\.الحرم The gate of the garden was opened while we were there. We enetered and then I asked the Egyptian attendant of the garden: Where is the water well? He showed me the water well, which is right to your right when you enter the garden. I said to him: Is this the same water well that the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam drank its water? He said: Yes, it is the same water well. But some changes have been done to it. I said: Which changes? He said: The high stone structure around the the well was demolished and the water is pumped out and is poued into that pool. I said: Can I drink of its water? He said: Yes. He then put the electrical pump on and water started to flow from the pipe. He gave me a paper cup and I drank the water of the well that Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam drank from. Al 02,هجري Hejree\ 1439 ذو الحجة Hajjah\.
